Q) How do we get from the airport to the hotel when we arrive in Greenland?
A) We offer free transport to/ from the airport upon arrival and departure.
Q) We are unable to book the Helicopter transfer from Kulusuk to Tasiilaq due to no flight or no free seats?
A) Please contact carrier Air Greenland by telephone on +299 34 34 34 and explain your situation.
Q) I saw that you organize boat trip to see icebergs. Is it possible to book a boat trip please?
A) No, all our tours are booked on the spot, and payment is done on check-out.
Q) we would really like to see big icebergs swimming in the water and maybe a glacier? Are you offering these tours every day?
A) We try our best to offer different kind of trips every day, it is ofcourse depending on ice and weather condtions.
Q) We like to come to Angmagssalik. How can we do that?
A) We recommend to buy a complete package with your local travel agency that offer west nordic countries. It is allso possible to buy a package with Air Iceland.
Q) We are not staying in your hotel, Can we still buy excursions from you?
A) Unfortunately the excursion are for hotel guests only.
Q) We have sent many e-mails to you about hotel reservations. Why do you not answer?
A) We only take hotel reservation thru booking.com. We try our best to answer all e-mail corespondance.
Q) We would like to charter one of your passenger approved boats. Is it possible?
A) Unfortunately our boats is fully booked for our excursions in the sailing season Maj-September.
Q) We want to dog sled during our summer visit?
A) Sorry no snow for the sled June - October. We find glacier dog sledding too dangerous due to very icy surface and deep crevasses.
Q) Why is some icebergs deep blue?
A) It is not because of the compression of the ice or how old the iceberg is, as many belives but the way water has frosen. Some icebergs permits the light rays to pass thru living only the blue frequency light visible.
Q) We are staying in november. Do you offer any excursions?
A) The period between summer and winter is a difficult time to do excursions. Too much pack ice for the boats and too little snow for the dog sledges.
Q) When is the best time to visit Greenland?
A) Greenland is nice to visit all year arround. The most impressive time would be Marts - September.
